Oia on the Greek island of Santorini is one of the most romantic,
picturesque, and artistic villages in all of Greece. The streets of charming narrow passageways twist their way
along the rim of the volcanic caldera and down the cliffs to the waters edge. Many of the buildings seen here are
built into niches in the volcanic rock.
Nowhere else are the magnificent blue domes of the churches that are
synonymous with Santorini as prominent as in Oia. The village of white washed houses looks out over the sunken
caldera and perfect blue of the Mediterranean Sea.
